Michelle Spelman is one of our highly trained hair stylists.  She is an expert in precision hair cutting, hair colour, men's hair cuts, hair extensions and hair for special occasions such as weddings and proms. Michelle joined the team in April 2014 and has never looked back, saying it was the best move of her life.  She says: "I've always known it was what I wanted to do.  Some of my earliest memories are of me sitting on my mum's shoulders every night playing with her hair, and doing all my friends' French plaits on break times." After finishing her NVQ Levels 1,2,3 and barbering course at Henley College Michelle went on to qualify in various hair extension techniques including fusion bonds, micro ring, nano ring and weave.  She also does Afro Caribbean hair and bridal hair. So, let's find out a little more about Michelle in our fun Q&A: Which three items would you want if stranded on a desert island?  They would definitely be my silver shampoo (my hair colour would be a nightmare without it), my Tangle Tamer brush and my Keratin hair mask (my hair extension 'musts'.) What do you love about your job?  Hairdressing to me is my life and my passion. What inspires you in the world of hairdressing?  I'm always looking to try out new things and love to keep up to date with the latest trends, nothing is impossible. What makes you great at your job?  I always give 100% and love being flexible to suit my clients' needs. What makes you happy?  It really is true when they say hairdressers really are the happiest in their jobs. [nggtags gallery=mich]
Teresa Bawden qualified as a hairdresser 25 years ago and has spent the past 17 years at Suzanne's Hair & Beauty Clinic.  After achieving her City & Guilds training, Teresa went on to pass her Advanced Hairdressing and has competed in and won regional competitions showcasing her talent.  Let's find out more... What do you enjoy about hairdressing?   I enjoy all aspects of hairdressing but like to focus on cutting as I enjoy creating shapes and texture within the hair. Which hair products do you absolutely love?  I am a big fan of Wella colouring and styling products. Describe yourself in three words.  I consider myself to be professional, consistent and enthusiastic, which is probably why I fortunately have an established clientele. What is your ambition?  I am very satisfied at this point of my career, still enjoying the diversity and creative challenges that each day can bring. Hair Stylist Stacey Denton has been a stylist for 17 years and joined the team at Suzanne's in April 2104. She is an expert in precision hair cutting, hair colour, men's hair cuts and hair for special occasions such as weddings and proms.  Here she tells us why she loves her job at Suzanne's. "I love being a hairdresser, not only for the artistic aspect of my career, but more for the clients. For the stay at home mum who only have that hour for themselves. For that teenage girl who gets bullied for not living up to the other girls standard if beauty. For the wife who wants her husband to look at her the same way he use too. I find great joy having these amazing women in my chair, I'm given the chance to make them feel better inside and enhance there beauty on the outside." Which hairstyle do you absolutely love to do?  When in comes to hair styling I'm a great all rounder, but my favourite thing to do is a total restyle and colour change. Really changing someone's look. I also love to foil highlight using a few different colours making the hair multi-tonal. What do you love about your job?  I love my job. Every day is different. I get to meet lots of lovely people. I also have clients who have become my friends. I love that I can transform clients with a hairstyle and make people feel good. I love to see my clients leave with smiles on their faces - it gives me great job satisfaction. Which celebrity would you love to style and why?  If I could do a celebrity's hair I'd choose Keith Lemon because he is sooooo funny and I'd love to run my fingers through his curls. What do like about working at Suzanne's? Having worked in a few salons in the city, I have now found a salon that inspires me, with great colleagues which creates a friendly atmosphere. Which three hair items would you want if stranded on a desert island?  If I lived on a desert island the three essential hair products I would take are a deep nourishing conditioner (because of sun damage), some serum (to tackle the frizz), and a volume spray (so my hair isn't flat to my head). What is your ultimate ambition? My ambition is to continue to be successful and happy in my work and family life, and to strive to learn new things. My ultimate ambition though is to snog Robbie Williams!? How would you describe yourself in three words? I would describe myself as quirky, creative and loyal. Before we show you some of the amazing hair cut and colour creations by Stacey, we'd like to show you the incredible results we're achieving using OLAPLEX which repairs and strengthens hair to avoid breakage during the colouring process.  This lady was one of Stacey's satisfied clients: Olaplex hair colour repair, Coventry hair salon           [clear] [nggallery id=24]
Keyleigh Verma is one of our trained hair stylists. She has been hairdressing for 12 years and joined Suzanne's Hair & Beauty Clinic in April 2014. She says: "I can honestly say it's the nicest team of girls I've worked with. It's a pleasure going to work." Check out some of Keyleigh's hair creations at the end of this article.  In the meantime, we ask Keyleigh a few questions to find out what makes her tick...

What do you love about hairdressing?  I love all aspects of hairdressing but I'd say I'm really passionate about creative work, creative colouring and hair up. Michelle and I do a lot of hair up for all occasions (weddings/proms) and we also offer a mobile service for bridal parties.

I strive for perfection and always do my best to make sure my clients enjoy a relaxed salon experience and leave 100% happy.

What is so special about working at Suzanne's?  I do absolutely love my job.  I've built some great relationships with my clients but always remain very professional.

Who or what inspires you?  I have to say my inspiration comes from my clients. They never fail to challenge me and they always keep me busy with creating new looks and using different techniques.

My other inspiration is my best friend/partner in crime Michelle who I've worked with for a long time.  We're always thinking up new colours to try and, to my relief, we tend to experiment on her hair!

If you had to live on a desert island, which three hair product items would you take with you?  If I were to live on a desert island my 3 must haves would be....

1... my trusty comb, for back combing because nobody likes flat hair. 2... argan oil to keep my hair looking and feeling good as my hair tends to dry up in the sun. 3... my rollers as I mostly wear my hair wavy. I mean I still want to look glam even if I am on a desert island!

We hear your grandad is a bit of a hit at the salon.  Tell us more!  It's a lovely feeling knowing your clients trust you completely with their hair and seeing them leave with a big smile on their faces.  Well I certainly know they leave happy when my grandad's made his weekly visit with his delicious home made cakes. So my clients do accuse me of trying to fatten them up but hey, it's all part of the service!
